The
Goodwin Holocaust Museum of the Holocaust Education Center is the largest such
museum in the Delaware Valley – including southern New Jersey, southeastern
Pennsylvania, and northern Delaware. It offers a permanent exhibit including a
collection of historical artifacts, memorabilia and photographs obtained by donations
of local residents and other sources.
The Museum also has rotating and special exhibits, provides guided tours by
trained and experienced docents some of whom are survivors and liberators and
provides access to an extensive reference and lending library including multimedia
materials.
In conjunction with the Education Department, the Goodwin Holocaust Museum
offers programs for students grades 5 and up. The content is altered according
to the grade level. Reservations must be made in advance for the day and time
that your school would like to visit but the Museum will do its best to accommodate
your needs. You should plan on spending 2- 21/2 hours at the Museum. If you
are unable to visit us, we have speakers who will bring our story to you. For
tour appointments and further information, please call the office between 10AM
and 5PM.
The Goodwin Holocaust Museum is supported solely through membership fees and
gifts. Your donations are critical to preserving our heritage and helping to
create a future free of bigotry, prejudice and hatred for our children. For
